An BLO Booth Level Officer may visit your address for verification purpose and to check the documents you have submitted if everything is Ok, your name will be update soon in the voter list.
How to Name Change in TN Voter ID
- Visit NVSP website www.nvsp.in
- Now click on 3rd option “Correction of entries in electoral roll”
- Form 8 will be open automatically if not choose the option Form 8.
- Select following State, Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency
- Enter your Name & Surnme
- Part Number of Electoral Roll
- Enter serial no. of Electoral Roll
- Enter your Photo Identity Card Number
- Now click on the “Name” option as you want to correct your name
- Once again fill your personal details such Name, Address, Voter ID Card No.
- Enter DOB, Father’s / Mother’s/ Husband’s Name
- Choose the relation & gender,
- Now Upload the supportive documents which are already mentioned above in the post.
- Enter your Email ID, Phone Number, Place Name
- The date on which you have submitted your request
- If all the details are correct please click on “Submit” button
- An confirmation message receive on your email id and mobile phone.
- You will see the updated name in next voter list or can check it after 30 days.
